Dr. (Mrs.) Ayeni-Agbaje A. R. hails from Emure Ekiti in Ekiti State, Nigeria. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Lagos in 1989, following which she completed her mandatory one-year national youth service with Union Bank of Nigeria Plc in 1991. Her academic journey continued with a Master of Business Administration from the University of Benin (MBA) in 1996, further enriched by a Master’s in Management in 2016, and culminating in the successful attainment of a Ph.D. in Accounting from Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti in 2021.

A distinguished professional, she holds fellowship positions with the Institutes of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and several other esteemed professional associations. Her contributions extend beyond academia, as she has authored numerous articles featured in both local and international journals, showcasing her expertise and thought leadership.

Demonstrating her administrative acumen, Dr. (Mrs) Ayeni-Agbaje was appointed as the Acting Head of Department on August 1st, 2022, a role she continues to play with dedication and proficiency till date.
