The current Head of Department of Accounting of the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti is Professor OLAOYE Festus Oladipupo (2024-2026). Professor OLAOYE Festus Oladipupo bagged B Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria (1993 and 2000 respectively) and the PhD degree from the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti Nigeria in 2016. He is a member of Chattered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria, Association of National Accountant of Nigeria and Chattered Institute of Forensicsb and Fraud Examiners of Nigeria.

He has held several responsibility posts in University which includes: Acting Head of Department and Sub-Dean at several times. He areas of specialization includes: Public Sector Accounting, Auditing and Management Accounting.

He is a prolific researcher in the field of Accounting and has published articles in learned local and international journals.
